Our Mission
Our mission is to unlock funding for Fairview, developing and building a more connected community. We work to ensure that good ideas, local needs, and community ambition are not held back by a lack of knowledge, confidence, or access to funding.
By supporting residents and local groups, we help turn ideas into practical projects that benefit the Fairview area and the people who live here. Our focus is on making it easier for people to take the first step, knowing that support, experience, and guidance are available.

Our Vision
Our vision is to be known and respected in Fairview as the enabling partner that gets projects off the ground. We want Fairview residents to see Fairview Community as a trusted, approachable organisation that helps ideas move from conversation to reality.
Who We Are For
We are here for anyone in Fairview who wants to contribute to their neighbourhood but is not quite sure where to start, who to speak to, or how to raise the money needed to make things happen.
This includes residents with ideas for local improvements, people who want to volunteer their time or skills, and those who simply want to feel more connected to where they live. Whether you are new to the area or have lived in Fairview for many years, Fairview Community exists to support you.
Fairview Community is the local community group for Fairview residents. We work on behalf of the community and alongside it, helping individuals and groups feel supported, informed, and empowered to take action.
Our Role in the Community
With a track record of over 15 years, we have experience identifying funding for necessary projects and supporting them through to delivery. We understand the challenges community groups face, from limited time and resources to navigating complex funding processes.
This allows residents to feel confident that they really can make a difference, knowing they are not expected to do everything alone.
Why Our Work Matters Now
In recent years, there have been significant changes and cuts to local government and community bodies. In the Fairview area, there is no Parish Council or similar local body to champion the community or deliver improvements that residents want to see.
This means there is often no clear route for local ideas to be heard, developed, or funded. It can also mean that Fairview risks missing out on grants and investment that are available to support communities, simply because there is no organisation in place to access them. Fairview Community exists to fill that gap.
How You Can Help
You do not need experience, funding knowledge, or a fully formed idea to get involved. You can help by volunteering your time, sharing your skills, or simply starting a conversation about what Fairview needs.
